I know who Maher Arar is--he's the dude who got major coin from the government to compensate him for a torture ordeal in Syria. I have no idea, though, who Velcrow Ripper is. I just like saying his name--Velcrow Ripper, Velcrow Ripper, Velcrow Ripper...

Half the organizations endorsing the trip are nothing more than a website that hasn't been updated in more than a year.

So they issues receipts in the name of the Unitarian Church of Vancouver.
I'm sure the CRA would like to hear about this.
