Canada's Returing ISIS Fighters Policy: Mad, Bad and Very, Very Dangerous

Canada is like an lunatic asylum, and it's clear that the inmates are running the joint. Case in point: our "genius" prime minister's plan to welcome back Canadian jihadis who had run off to Syria to join ISIS, and who, not that the fight there is more or less over, have a hankering to return the true north strong and free. Even though, as Senator Linda Frum points out here, these jihadis have violated Canadian law, and are thus subject to prosecution, the Trudopians are planning to ignore their Allahu Akbar antics and aim to help them "reintegrate" into Canadian society.

Hey, what could possibly go wrong with that?

The insanity is further exemplified by the headline the adorns the senator's comments--"There's nothing Islamophobic about arresting ISIS fighters."

No kidding. By the same token, water is wet, the sky is blue, and Justin Trudeau has some really silly and juvenile socks.

Here in the JT loony bin, however, where we go out of our way to be nice to jihadis (who, while testy and potentially explosive, are also potential Liberal voters), Frum's bald statement of fact is considered controversial, verging on the--yes--Islamophobic.

Update: As far as I know, Frum hasn't yet been called upon to apologize for being mean/Islamophobic to returning ISIS fighters. The day is young, though. And, knowing that an apology was demanded last month when she had the unmitigated chutzpah to call the Iranian regime--the world's foremost state sponsor of terrorism--"a malign nation," a demand for another apology could very well be in the offing, and sooner rather than later.
