How The Mighty Have Fallen

I haven't read Doonesbury since...well, it's been so long I can't remember the last time I read it. Probably back in the early 80s, if not earlier. And I wouldn't have looked at it today had I not been sitting in the dentist's chair having the tartar scraped off my teeth and had my dentist not told me about today's strrip slamming the Big O. (Thanks, Dr. W.) And if Gary Trudeau, of all people, is accusing you of "cognitive dissonance," you know things have taken a nose dive in a remarkably short time.
