The Guardian reports that scientists want the UN to draw up contingency plans for what to do should aliens (of the E.T. variety, not the terrestrial, border-breaching sort) drop by for a visit.
Earth to scientists: as if the UN hasn't bollixed things up on this planet, now you want it to mess it up inter-planetarily?
