Yes, the perversion of sociocultural and historical reality is revolting . . . though you must admit that it contains a grain of delicious irony, a black man shilling for a religion and culture that, to this day, enslaves large numbers of sub-Saharan Africans, even if it is--for now--formally illegal to do so. (And the time is well within living memory when black slavery was quite legal in the Islamo-Arabic world: Slavery was not formally outlawed in Mauritania, for example, until 1981! . . . and is still quite prevalent, extralegally.)
