Thanks for Coming and Try the State Censorship

George Carlin's most famous comedy routine involved the Seven Dirty Words You Can't Say on TV. In homage to old George, and to blow a raspberry at the B.C. "human rights" kangaroos who punished a comedy club comedian for razzing and offending an unbelievably thin-skinned Lesbian, here's my list of the Seven Squishy Terms That You Must Say in Canada, but which I wish we could banish from the land due to the incalculable harm they have caused and/or because their gross overuse and/or misuse has rendered them virtually meaningless. And the words are (drum roll, please):
  • multiculturalism
  • diversity
  • interfaith
  • social justice
  • tolerance
  • human rights
  • human rights commission/tribunal/museum
If I never had to hear any of the above again, you would see me do this:
