Obama's Interfaith Activist a Da'wa Huckster?

The Obama White House is really big on Eboo Patel, a self-styled guru of campus "interfaith" efforts. Patel's racket: he shows up at universities to promote "tolerance"—Hillel and the Muslim Students Association getting together for tasty repasts of falafels and samosas and the like (with both sides doing their level best to ignore the Zionist elephant hunkered down in their parlor, lest it disrupt their newfound amity). One would have to be an utter churl to be sceptical of such good intentions, wouldn't one?  Either that or a baleful observer of the Islamist M.O. Militant Islam Monitor, for instance, which, apropos Patel, has this to say:

The Interfaith Youth Core directed by Eboo Patel claims its aim is to "promote mutual respect and pluralism among young people". Then why did self proclaimed interfaith guru (viewed by many as a moderate messiah) Eboo Patel emcee at the 2007 annual event of The Council on American Islamic Relations a Saudi funded front group for Hamas and unindicted co-conspirator in the Holyland Foundation Hamas funding trial?

Why did he emcee a CAIR event? MIM says it's because Patel is someone who has figured out that the best, the easiest, way to get kafirs to open wide and swallow Da'wa (Islamic proselytising/PR) is to sugar-coat it with "interfaith" bollocks.

Works every time.
