Gail Asper tells the National Post that she made her rap video (to encourage young Manitobans to vote) over the objection of her son:

One son was away travelling, but my rap son, who knows a little bit about ‘the genre,’ was home and he responded in absolute horror. NOOOO, DEAR GOD NO! WHY?! But I was doing it. So then he said ‘The only way you can do it is if you have some humour in it, you have to acknowledge you’re this white, Jewish, upper-middle class lady doing a rap.’ So that’s why I tried not to be too serious.

Well, no. Even with the "humour," white, Jewish, upper-middle class ladies should never, I repeat, never do a rap. Not if they don't want to look ridiculous, that is.
