Dalton McWindy and His Magical Turbines

He's full of hot air. Unfortunately, there's not nearly enough of it to power or justify the cost/unsightliness of his giant, magical sticks.

The kite's a metaphor for McWindy's spending (also an ardent desire--as in "go fly one, Mr. Premier")

  1. Doesn't anyone do a present value (PV) analysis before deciding to spend billions of taxpayers' dollars on these envirocool projects? Just about any cost accountant, economist, or engineer knows how to do one . . . heck, you can go on the internet to find a PV calculator and just plug in the numbers: even a journalism school graduate--and they're down there in the bottom intellectual strata of universities, almost down to college of education level--could do that.
