Barack Obama, Failed Statesman? No. Failed "Story-Teller"

The man whose failed economic policies have led directly to a nose-diving economy actually said this:
The mistake of my first term—couple of years—was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right. And that's important. But the nature of this office is also to tell a story to the American people that gives them a sense of unity and purpose and optimism, especially during tough times.
No, Barack. The mistake of your first term is not that you failed to tell a story. You told a story--your story--just fine (with a little help from Billy Ayers?). Your mistake is that that you sold the snake oil of hopeychange and your own competence, and far too many people were suckered into buying it.
