RCMP Manual Advises Mounties to Ix-Nay the Ihad-Jay

Words that tell it like it is--jihad, Islamist, etc.--are to be eschewed lest they give rise to hurt feelings and lead to—wait for it—Muslim extremism! Vic Toews, for one, thinks it's a swell idea:

...Public Safety Minister Vic Toews said he doesn't consider the RCMP's soft language on terror a concession to Islam. 

"I think it's a matter of moving sensitively in what is an area where we need the co-operation of these groups," he said in Winnipeg.

I think it's a matter of supine capitulation/dhimmitude, and that Vic is full of it.
