CAIR Launches "True Jihad" Campaign

You may have heard that "jihad" refers to a holy war waged against infidels until such time as they capitulate. No so. According to Muslim Brotherhood-linked CAIR, it's a personal, internal "struggle," and has nada to do with all that messy holy war business. In an effort to persuade Americans that jihad is a good thing, CAIR has embarked on a new obfuscation P.R. campaign:
“The MyJihad campaign is about reclaiming Jihad from the Muslim and anti-Muslim extremists who, ironically but not surprisingly, see eye to eye on Jihad,” Ahmed Rehab, Executive Director of the Chicago office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago), said in a statement obtained by OnIslam.net.
"Jihad is a term that has unfortunately been widely misrepresented by the actions of Muslim extremists first and foremost, and by attempts at public indoctrination coming from Islamophobes who claim that the minority extremists are right and the majority of Muslims are wrong.”...
Hands up all those who believe that two waves of holy warriors (first Arabian, then Ottoman) conquered great swathes of the planet via a personal, internal "struggle," or who think that "jihad" today means something different than it did back then.

I don't see any hands.

Update: BCF fixes the bus ads here.

CAIR's is a "cuddly" jihad
