Canadian-Pakistani Cleric a Riddle Wrapped in an Enigma? Not So Much

This VOA blog professes to be completely perplexed by Muhammad Tahir-al-Qadri, "a complex man full of contradictions," supposedly.

Me? I think he's an open book.

It's called the Koran, dude (rimshot!).

Knowing that, I find nothing "contradictory" or "complex" about his call for a "true, pure, and honest" democracy in Pakistan. It's patently clear that what he wants is the only type of "democracy" fanatics like him are prepared to embrace: "true, pure and honest" sharia.
