"Don’t Apologize, Dude. Be a Guy Guy"

That's David Solway's advice to David Gilmour, the U of T literature instructor who found himself in deep academia dung for daring to express a preference for he-man fiction. Sadly, Dave didn't have the chestnuts to stand up to the "diversity" maniacs, and quickly fell on his sword (so to speak) in an effort to assuage them. (Predictably, it didn't work.)

The take-away from this intrinsically Canadian scandale: Dave's tough guy stance was merely a pose, and, when given the chance to man up and display grace under pressure, he turned tail and ran away like a silly little girl.
