Even though that "lone wolf" in Witchita expressed a desire to wage jihad on behalf of al Qaeda; even though he read his al-Awlaki chapter and verse and had it down pat; the FBI, hewing to its rules of euphemism and obfuscation, insists on describing him not as a jihadi (a word that's redolent of Islam) but as a "violent extremist" (a secular term).
Crazy, no?
