Zionhass in the Globe and Mail

This letter-writer thinks he knows why Stephen Harper has refused to move heaven and earth to get a "Canadian" journalist back:
Canada’s Middle East foreign policy is set by Benjamin Netanyahu. The Israeli PM is very pleased to be rid of former Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood with its ties to Hamas. With Mr. Netanyahu happy to have the Egyptian military back in control, our government isn’t about to criticize the Egyptian government.
Well, that's one way to explain it. One nutty, Jew-hatin', Protocols-esque way. The truth, however, has nothing to do with Netanyahu and everything to do with the fact that the journalist in question happens to be Egyptian as well as Canadian, and that presents certain complications

As always, though, it's easy and comforting for some to blame any difficulty on the Joooos.
