Your "Human Rights" Word Du Jour: "Colourist"

And, no, it has nothing to do with hair. Here, I'll put it in a sentence: a biracial chick who worked for Nova Scotia's Black Education Association complained to that province's "human rights" racket when a BAE "colourist" claimed the chick "wasn't black enough" to do her job.

While I have nothing but contempt for Canada's "human rights" industry (whom I refer to as "victimists"--those who ply the victimhood trade for fun, power and profit), it's somewhat heartening to see a Canadian "human rights" body going against received "wisdom" that only white folks, with the innate privilege derived from their skin colour, are capable of bigotry and discrimination. That said, I highly doubt a similar sort of complaint lodged by an employee of an Islamic organization would have gained the same--or, indeed, any--traction.
