Beware of Saudis, Qataris Who Use ISIS Extremism to Portray Themselves as "Moderates"

Michael Coren sounds the alarm:
Thing is, Muslim fanatics with no connection to ISIS have slaughtered innocent people for many years now and the silence of the Islamic world has been deafening in its empty cacophony. We hear justifications and apologetics, we hear of oppression, deprivation, imperialism, America, Israel, Islamophobia and dictatorships. Excuses and obfuscation, a cloud of unknowing and a failure and refusal to speak and act.
I welcome the new consensus against ISIS but when the likes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar are part of the coalition against them I cannot take the condemnation seriously; the former is responsible for most of the world’s fundamentalist mosques, schools and propaganda, the latter for the financial support of Hamas and other Islamist entities.
It occurred to me the other day that one would never say that so-and-so was a "moderate" Christian or a "moderate" Jew.

An odd but significant fact, I think.
