Breaking News: France's Patrick Modiano Wins 2014 Nobel Prize for Literature

Patrick who? Never heard of him.

Update: He wrote the screenplay for Louis Malle's 1973 film Lacombe, Lucien.

    According to Wikipedia:

    Modiano was born in Boulogne-Billancourt. His father, Albert Modiano (1912—1977, born in Paris), was of Jewish origin, descended from a famous Sephardic family of Salonica.[1
