Hilary Weston is a comely Irish lass who married well (her husband is gazillionaire capitalist Galen Weston and she and her family are ranked first on the list of the richest folks in Ireland). Because she's so wealthy, she endowed an annual Canadian non-fiction book prize that bears her name. Yesterday, in what must be seen as an immensely ironic turn of events, this year's prize, Canada's most lucrative literary award, worth $60,000 to the winner, went to Naomi Klein for her latest eye-glazer, an anti-capitalist, pro-climatist manifesto.
