The anti-nuke protesters were rife and high-profile back in the day. But that was a time when "wicked" conservatives Ronald Reagan and Maggie Thatcher were in office, so things were, you know, really scary back then. Today, with The First African-American President™, the hyper-virtuous Barack H. Obama in power and sucking up like mad to genocide-minded Shiites with a penchant for enriching uranium, the anti-nuke crowd has made itself remarkably scarce.

Guess they're too busy protesting global climate change and the "unfairness" of one percenters having way too much moolah.
