You Heard Correctly--Obama Just Accused the Republicans of Being on the Same Side as the Grandiose Ayatollah and His Fellow Twelver Wackjobs

In what is perhaps his most outrageous/clueless statement to date, Obama had this to say re those opposed to his nuke deal:

Just because Iranian hardliners chant “Death to America” does not mean that that’s what all Iranians believe. In fact, it’s those . . . (APPLAUSE) In fact, it’s those hardliners who are most comfortable with the status quo. It’s those hardliners chanting “Death to America” who have been most opposed to the deal. They’re making common cause with the Republican Caucus.

In fact, it's those hardliners who have the power--and who are building the nukes.

Just a reminder: when ordinary Iranians tried to overthrow the hardliners a few years ago, Obama pointedly ignored their cries for help. Thanks to him, the hardliners remained firmly in control. It takes chutzpah of a pathological variety to make a deal with the hardliners who continue to oppress and kill ordinary Iranians while simultaneously trying to downplay it by mentioning those ordinary Iranians who have no power to put the brakes on Khamenei's nukes-for-hegemony scheme.
