Toronto City Councillor Joe Mihevc Helps Serve Up "Supper With Syria"

Despite warnings that Syrian "refugees" are likely to bring their Jew-hate with them (see this piece, for example, which contains info you'll never read in our lamestream media), well-intentioned fools remain intent on importing the fleers to our parts. Here, for instance, is what one eager Torontonian--Ward 21 rep Joe Mihevc--is up to:

Dear neighbour,
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have already come together around Supper With Syria, an event being held on November 29th, 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Wychwood Barns. Ward 21 has always been a vibrant and welcoming community, and these past few weeks have been no exception!
Hundreds of residents have come forward to volunteer their time, their homes, and their energy to this inspiring community initiative.
Seeing residents organize around important issues like this is a constant reminder of how powerful and engaged a community can be.
Supper With Syria will raise $70,000 to help bring two refugee families to Ward 21. This money will go towards settling the families once they arrive, and is based on guidelines set by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
Proceeds from the event will be going to the Lifeline Syria Fund at the Toronto Foundation, and will be dispersed by Lifeline Syria to a qualified agency working with refugees.
The evening will include presentations by Syrian and Canadian chefs, who will be serving an array of dishes inspired by traditional Syrian cuisine. It will also feature live performances by the Canadian Arabic Orchestra and the Canadian Arabic Choir, as well as live storytelling by members of the Syrian community. In addition, there will be a silent auction of authentic Syrian artefacts, accessories, décor, jewellery and fine art.
As the date of the event approaches, there are still many ways to become involved and show your support. See below for more information about purchasing tickets or making a donation.

Supper With Syria is a one-of-a-kind event, where members of the Syrian community and Torontonians will come together to create a wonderful cultural community experience. The response so far has been remarkable, but there is still a lot to do. This event is a unique opportunity to bring two refugee families into our community, and it is shaping up to be an unforgettable evening.
Thank you for your support and I hope to see you on November 29th at the Wychwood Barns.
Kind regards,
Councillor Joe Mihevc
Ward 21, St. Paul's West
Sounds delightful. If you go, though, I'd leave your Magen David pendant, IDF T-shirt and Israeli flag at home. Wouldn't want to rile up all the Syrians and other Arabs, now would you?
