Trump, sounding not unlike Obama, doesn't like the term because he thinks it "insults" the rest of the world. But, in his incoherence, Trump frets the supposed "insult" while simultaneously railing at the rest of world for continually taking advantage of the U.S. And because he's an ignoramus, he has no idea about what "exceptionalism" means--that it refers to a set of fundamental (and exceptional--i.e. unique) American principles set out in the Declaration of Independence, and has nothing to do with being really, really rich.
