A Question Re the Rio Olympics Opening Spectacle

Anyone else think it was pretty rich to be hectored about "global warming" by a country that cut down its rain forest and that's mired in poverty and corruption?

    I took it as Brazil counting on a big payoff from the First World for climbing on board the climate change express.
