"Trudeau Is Immensely Popular With Muslims"

No kidding. That's because he loves to play Islamic dress up and enjoys schmoozin' with the umma at a mosque whose lead imam belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood (not the first time he's patronized a masjid with dubious connections). It's also because when it comes to noisome suckuppery, Justin is in a league of his own. Hence this:
Ottawa, Ontario
12 September 2016
The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on Eid al-Adha:
“Today, Muslims in Canada and around the world will gather to celebrate Eid al-Adha, which marks the end of the Hajj.
“Eid al-Adha is an opportunity for prayer, forgiveness, and celebration. Friends and family will gather to attend morning prayers, share a celebratory meal, exchange greetings and gifts, reflect on lessons of sacrifice, and show compassion to those in need.
“It is on days like today that we are reminded of the values that bring all Canadians together – those of peace, empathy, family, and friendship.
“Today also serves as an opportunity for us all to recognize the invaluable contributions of our thriving Muslim community that enrich our national fabric each and every day. No matter our faith, culture, or country, we are reminded that our diversity is Canada’s greatest strength.
“On behalf of our family, Sophie and I extend our best wishes to Muslims in Canada and around the world who are celebrating Eid al-Adha, and congratulate those performing the Hajj this year.
“Eid Mubarak!”
Re that "diversity" line, one seconded by B. Obama at this year's 9/11 commemoration ceremony, Daniel Greenfield gets it right when he observes: "Diversity when guided toward a common purpose with certain common values can indeed be a strength. Diversity for the sake of diversity, which is the liberal creed, is however destructive."

Couldn't have said it better myself.
