The 'Fear' Continues

I thought that since we're now living in the Beauteous Age of Obama, the U.S. had done away with the colour-coded terror alert warnings that marked and, contend the fearless, marred George W. Bush's Unbearably Scary Age of Fear. Turns out I thought wrong. Yesterday a would-be shahid tried to detonate an explosive aboard an American airliner, and the C-in-C decided to raise the terror alert level from yellow (or "elevated," which betokens a "signicant risk of terrorists attacks") to orange (a "high" risk).

What's wrong with that virgin-seeker? Didn't he get the memo?
