Clarification
In Tuesday's Warren Kinsella column, Ottawa Citizen reporter Glen McGregor is mentioned for asking Conservative MP Michelle Rempel about what hair care products she uses. In fact, McGregor spoke to Rempel among several other MPs, both men and women, only about whether they charged these products to their election campaigns, following the story on MP Eve Adams who had done so. This was part of a story involving the reasonableness of personal care costs claimed by candidates and partially reimbursed by the taxpayers.Good to know. I guess. My credo: no matter what you do, pay for your own shampoo. Oh, and don't sweat the small stuff.
The big stuff: sure; sweat away. The petty personal care stuff: mega-ho to the hum.
