There once was a pundit named Ian,
And you won't believe what he's seein':
A "moderate" Abbas;
A "moral victory" for Hamas.
(Ian's eyesight and insight are fleein'.)

Let 'Em Look At (But Not Eat) Gingerbread!
At a time when more and more Americans have been forced to tighten their belts, this exceptionally lavish--and, no doubt, exceptionally pricey--gingerbread facsimile of the White House whipped up by the Obama family pastry chef seems a tad over the top, no? (The little marzipan Bo is cute as the dickens, though.)
Funny How Abbas Was Mum About His Party's "Great Goal" When He Spoke at the UN
A Fatah official comes clean re his party's "great goal," i.e. the termination of the Jewish nation. (Hat tip: PJR)
"Blatant Indoctrination"
What you see below is a page from my son's Grade 9 geography text book. When I was in Grade 9, eons ago, admittedly, I remember geography being about, well, geography--the life cycle of rivers, meandering streams and the like. Today, Grade 9 geography is a soupy potage of received "wisdom" and squishy progressivism--global warming/sustainable energy; how the white man cheated Canadian aboriginals out of their land; and, as seen here, how Canada, with its focus on the "role of the individual as a member of society," is ever so much superior to the U.S., with its "rights of the individual." (The book was published way back in 2006, when a Barack Obama presidency was but a mote in Oprah's eye. When it comes to discussions of collectivism and nationalized health care, it is thus so out of date as to be embarrassingly anachronistic. "Blatant indoctrination," by the way, is the phrase that escaped from my lips, to my son's great delight, when he showed me this page yesterday.)

Canadian Posties Hobnob With Other Zion-Loathers at Brazil Confab
How's this for the new CUPW slogan--"Mail-carriers for a Zionrein Mideast!"?
OTTAWA - Postal union members in Brazil for a political conference had the chance to rub elbows this week with supporters of a listed terror group and its leader.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) were in Porto Alegre for the World Social Forum's "Free Palestine" conference, which wrapped up Saturday.
There, the five-person delegation had the option of attending a session devoted to calling for the release of Ahmad Saadat from an Israeli jail.
Saadat was sentenced in 2008 to 30 years behind bars for heading the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Israel suspects he helped orchestrate the 2001 assassination of Israeli tourism minister Rehavam Zeevi by the PFLP - a militant group with a history of violence.
In 2003, Public Safety Canada listed the PFLP as a group associated with terrorism for its history of hijacking planes and the use of suicide bombers and car bombings.
Supporters view Saadat as a political prisoner. His predecessor, Abu Ali Mustafa, was killed in 2001 by Israeli forces.
On its website, the PFLP promotes the forum and Saadat himself penned a jailhouse letter to delegates calling for an end to imperialism and an expanded boycott of Israeli products.
On Sunday, CUPW national president Denis Lemelin said the union wasn't aware of the group's involvement and the delegation's focus was networking with their Brazilian counterparts...That Mr. MaiLemelin can spew such utter bollocks and not break out into riotous laughter is a testament to his true belief in the "Free Palestine" cause.
Abbas Fetid, er, Feted by the Delerious Upon His Return to "Palestine"
Hear him sing:
Ev'ryone knows where I ventured last week.
I went to the UN.
Asked 'em, "Please make us a 'state'."
And they responded "amen."
It's my party and I'll crow if I wanna,
Crow if wanna, crow if I wanna.
You would crow too,
If your "state" was brand new.
Promising stuff that will never come true.
Swallowed all of my lies.
Now a supremacist state
Is gettin' ready to rise.
It's my party and I'll crow if I wanna,
Crow if wanna, crow if I wanna.
You would crow too,
If your "state" was brand new.
Stickin' it both to the Jews and Hamas.
I came back with the goods
Returned to rapturous raves
'Cuz Jerusalem's now Al Quds.
It's my party and I'll crow if I wanna,
Crow if wanna, crow if I wanna.
You would crow too,
If your "state" was brand new.
Ev'ryone knows where I ventured last week.

No Money in State Dep't Coffers for Benghazi Security. Plenty of Dough, Though, for Bad Art
Daniel Greenfield poses a reasonable question: why did the Obama regime, which was a real Grinch when it came to security requirements in Benghazi, and which is fine-tuned to an astonishing degree to that which may potentially offend Muslims, spend oodles of moolah ($4.5 million, to be exact) to bedeck American embassies with the work of artists who slander Christianity?

Pursuing Felonious Polonium
Analysing Arafat's exhumed remains in hopes of detecting traces of Zionist-injected polonium will take time, we are told. And as a now-begeezered rock group sings...
Constitution, Shmonstitution
In light of MuBro Mo's power grab, Egypt's Constitutional Court has resolved to shut down for the time being, if not for forever.
