Usefully Idiotic Jewess Who Defecated on Israeli Flag Gets Funding From Self-Righteous European Zion-Loathers
What a sweetheart!:
Back in April, Israelis were horrified by the sight of a young performance artist named Natalie Cohen-Waxberg who turned up at Yad Vashem, the national Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem, wearing a fake crown and intensely-applied red lipstick, and claiming to personify the “Holocaust.” For several minutes, Cohen-Waxberg screeched insults such as “Who provided the IDF its human resources straight from the oven?” and “I am the best thing that ever happened to the Jews!” at visitors to the memorial.
By November, that horror had turned to sheer nausea, when Cohen-Waxberg released a video of herself defecating on the Israeli flag – an artistic effort that this time landed her in court on charges of “desecrating a national symbol.”
But most shocking of all is the revelation that Cohen-Waxberg’s activities have been funded, in part, by foreign governments and agencies.
In her Holocaust video, Cohen-Waxberg is flanked by an actor playing the part of her bodyguard. In real life, the “actor” is Eitan Bronstein, the founder of Zochrot, a radical Israeli NGO which unconditionally promotes the notion that the creation of Israel was, for the Palestinians, a “Naqba” – Arabic for “catastrophe.”
As Israeli watchdog NGO Monitor has noted, in 2013, Zochrot, which vocally supports the BDS campaign against Israel, received a staggering $500,000 in grants from foreign donors, many of them church organizations who receive taxpayer funds from their national governments. Among the groups’ financiers are Oxfam in the UK, Trocaire in Ireland, the church-based ICCO from The Netherlands and Germany’s Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. They are sick in the head, the lot of 'em.
Ottawa Imam Pens "Dear John" Letter to Ordinary Canadian Lad Who Ran Off to Join ISIS, Made a Propaganda Video for 'Em
Writing in the Glib & Mewl, the Ottawa imam tries to set the lad straight, claiming that Canada has made him (the imam) "a better Muslim":
Incidentally, the entity formerly known as CAIR-CAN thought so highly of this piece that it posted it on its website.
Update: Meanwhile, over in Australia, another imam penned a "Dear Tony" letter.
Update: Too bad the Taliban never got the imam's "Islam is a vibrant ocean of inclusivity" memo.
Islam literally means a path that leads one to a state of completeness and wholeness, culminating in a state of social-awareness, self-awareness and divine awareness. True Islam nurtures vibrant minds and intellects, shapes inclusive and just societies and establishes progressive civilizations. The purpose of Islam is to unite, not divide; to nurture love, not breed hatred; to build, not destroy. Without justice and balance no civilization can thrive.
Likewise, Shari’ah connotes a number of easy paths leading one to the source of fresh water – the foundation of all life. The source takes one from a narrow outlet, and gradually expands, from stream to river, to sea then to the vastness of the ocean. Thus, Shari’ah literally takes one from a narrow mentality and outlook, to a broad, inclusive and vibrant mindset.
John, I’m sorry to have to break it to you, but you’ve been duped. You’ve been peddled an empty package.Funny--that's kind of how I feel when I think about "multiculturalism." In any event, a good argument can be made that, going strictly by the jihad imperative and Islamic supremacism embedded in core Islamic texts, it's the ISIS guy who's on the right track and the imam who's been duped (and who's peddling something false and empty).

Seige Ends at Sydney Cafe; Jihadi (Killed by Cops) Identified as Iranian "Refugee" Who Should Have Been In Jail (But Wasn't)
Considering this guy's history of criminality Down Under, there is much 'splainin' to do re why he wasn't in the slammer:
[Man Haron] Monis, also known as Sheik Haron, was charged last year with being an accessory to the murder of his ex-wife who was stabbed and set alight in a Sydney apartment block.
He was found guilty in 2012 of sending offensive and threatening letters to families of eight Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan, as a protest against Australia's involvement in the conflict, according to local media reports.
Earlier this year, Monis, who describes himself as a "spiritual healer," was charged with the indecent and sexual assault of a Sydney woman in 2002. Further charges were laid in October. And the reason this dangerous individual was allowed to remain at large and plan his jihadi plot is...?
Sydney Jihadi Forces Hostage to Post His Demands on Her Facebook Page
Expect the media to make a big deal the "social media" aspect of the story. But really, it's merely a communication vehicle, and thus far less important that the jihadi's list of demands.
Man, I hope none of these hostages succumb to Stockholm Syndrome, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of them do.
Primarily the post states that the terrorist wants the world to know that “Australia is under attack by the Islamic State.”
Mikhael [the woman forced to post on Facebook] states that the terrorist demands include wanting an Islamic State flag and to speak with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott via live broadcast.
Further the terrorist has asked that “brothers” do not detonate two bombs located in the city.
Mikhael indicated that hostages would be shot if the demands are not met.Is that all? What, no all white dressing room, bottles of Moet et Chandon on ice and bowls of M&Ms with all the red ones removed?
Man, I hope none of these hostages succumb to Stockholm Syndrome, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of them do.
Where's the Mark Steyn Bobblehead?
Ezra Levant has one. Don't you think a Steyn B-head would be a welcome addition to "The Steyn Line" of merchandise, a tchotchke that could bring big bucks to help defray the humongous legal bills he's incurring in his battle against "hockey stick" superstar Michael Mann?
So I ask again: Where's your bobblehead, Mark Steyn?

A Black and White Banner With the Shahada in the Window of a Sydney Cafe--What Could It Possibly Mean?
I understand the need to not jump to conclusions while a crisis is still unfolding. But as in the case of the Fort Hood shrink who screamed "Allahu Akbar" as he proceeded to pick off infidels with his shotgun, it's safe to assume that the situation in Sydney has something to do with jihad.
Update: And, of course, what would an unfolding crisis involving jihad be without the obligatory talk of a "backlash" ?
Update: Robert Spencer writes re the black and white banner and the stupefied reaction to it:

Update: And, of course, what would an unfolding crisis involving jihad be without the obligatory talk of a "backlash" ?
Twitter users pledged their support for Australian Muslims facing a possible backlash as a suspected Islamist gunman took hostages in a Sydney cafe. The hashtag #IllRideWithYou trended globally as unconfirmed reports suggest that women in traditional Muslim dress had been been intimidated on public transport in Sydney. Australian Muslim leaders also released a statement condemning the cafe siege, calling it a "despicable act."Sigh. It's all so boringly, tediously predictable.
Update: Robert Spencer writes re the black and white banner and the stupefied reaction to it:
The flag says in Arabic, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet” – the Islamic confession of faith. It will thus be hard to claim this one was workplace violence, but the mainstream media and Western leaders are no doubt already strategizing on ways to do so. Falling quickly into politically correct lockstep and ignoring the jihad flag in the window, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott insisted that “we don’t know the motivation” of the gunmen.Yeah, it's, like, a complete mystery.

Michael Coren: Canada as "Innocent" as Ever Re the Reality and Threat of Jihad
After two Canadian soldiers were murdered in quick succession by two homegrown jihadis last month, there was much angst and hand-wringing re whether this meant that Canada had finally "lost its innocence." Michael Coren, an English-born writer who has lived in Canada for a long time, examines the question for readers of U.K. periodical Standpoint. He writes:
It would be reassuring to explain that Canada lost its innocence that week and that, while never abandoning its moderation and civility, suddenly took the threat of Islamist terrorism seriously. Not so. Not so at all. The leader of the Liberal Party, Justin Trudeau, initially refused to describe the attacks as terrorism and the leader of the New Democratic Party, Canada's Labour Party, still will not do so. Those politicians who did admit that the organised murder of two Canadian soldiers and an attempt to slaughter MPs was perhaps terroristic, then exhibited what has become a notorious adjectival complaint. It wasn't "Islamic" or "Muslim" terrorism, it was just terrorism. Terror for terror's sake perhaps, or as part of an obscure hobby, or merely a result of childhood trauma. Both killers were described as being mentally ill, which now seems to be the verdict reserved almost exclusively for Islamist murderers. I don't recall IRA, UVF or in Canada French separatist terrorists ever being considered mentally ill. Perhaps it's just that mental illness is on the rise these days. Both killers, by the way, had been under police supervision, had had their passports confiscated and were openly supportive of jihadism and Islamic State.Of course, as Coren well realizes, it isn't really a matter of "innocence" as much as it is a blindness that's intrinsic to a certain worldview:
It's not a dysfunction confined to Canada of course but this is a country that partly, perhaps largely, defines itself at least in establishment circles by not being American, and Americans are seen as conservative, nationalistic and at war with Islam. It may be risible but it soaks Canadian political opinions. Yet both Democrat and Republican administrations have laboriously, and incorrectly, insisted that Islam is a religion of peace and that there is no link between Muslim teachings and international terrorism. It's a mantra we hear in almost all of the Western world now; as though if we say it often and loudly enough it will suddenly come true. But the Canadian situation is even worse because relativism was pumped into the bloodstream of the nation's body politic long ago. It's not so much that our leaders and opinion-formers are physically afraid of speaking truth to Islamist power — though that is a factor; it's not even that they are frightened of being accused of the canard of Islamophobia or racism, though that is even more of a factor. It's that to admit, even to oneself, that some religions and cultures are more violent and less tolerant than others is to question the entire underpinnings of one's philosophy, ideology and even secular theology. It's not that Cameron, Obama, American celebrities, British talking heads or Canadian chattering class doyens are bad — it's that they're terrified of questioning everything they have believed since they can remember.
