A Toronto Star editorial calls proposed legislation which would strip known terrorists who are dual citizens of their Canadian citizenship "knee-jerk folly." Further, it claims the measure is bad because it would supposedly "create two classes of citizens in this country."
Wrong. The "two classes of citizens"--Canadians who are proud to be Canadians, and those who are citizens of convenience (like, say, the Khadr family, or the dude from Lebanon who is said to have been involved in a Hezbo hit on a bus-full of Jooos in Bulgaria)--have been around for a long time.
And, hey, divesting terrorists of their Canucki passport isn't nearly as "knee-jerk" as blowing the crap out of them via a drone.
