Exuberant Islamist Group in Bangladesh Releases Its List of Demands

The list is intended to silence--and punish--a bunch of sassy domestic bloggers who aren't terribly keen on sharia:
The group listed 13 demands, including reinstating "absolute trust and faith in the Almighty Allah" in the nation's constitution, which is largely secular, and passing a law providing for capital punishment for maligning Allah, Islam and its Prophet Muhammad.
One good thing about censorship in Canada vs. the kind they want to institute in Bangladesh: when Canadian bloggers say anything blasphemous, they aren't executed. Bankrupted due to having to pay onerous legal fees involved in responding "human rights" complaints or SLAPP actions: yes. Decapitated: no.
