High School Teacher in Albany, NY, In Hot Water Over "Pretend You're a Nazi, Tell Me Why Joooos Are Eee-ville" Assignment

She told her students to pretend she was a Nazi official and to convince her of their loyalty to the Third Reich by arguing "that Jews are evil" using "solid rationale from government propoganda."

Don't worry, though--
School officials say they don't believe the teacher who handed out the assignment had malicious intent. The purpose of the assignment was to have students make an argument based on limited information, but it should have been worded differently, officials said.
Yeah, it was "the wording" that was the problem here. Had it been, ahem, "worded" another way (for example--how?) it would never have become a news item.
