What "Pro-Israel" J Street Has In Common With Israel's Enemies

The world's Zion-loathers make impossible demands of Israel, ones it can't possibly fulfill. So, too, does J Street, which cannot bring itself to love Israel as it is, warts and all. As Aiden Pink writes in The Tower,
it would be healthier if “American Jews become less obsessed over what Israel could be, and accept it for what it is … an imperfect state, but a sovereign state nonetheless; a state that will accept help when it needs it, but has long since earned the right to make its own choices in pursuit of prosperity, peace and security.”
It would be healthier if the world, too, could become less obsessed over what Israel could be and accept it for what it is. Doesn't mean it's going to happen, though.
