Lies, Damned Lies, and British Politicians' Damned Duplicity
Now it can be told: the comedy team of Blair and Brown released the Libyan Lockerbie terrorist not, as we were told, out of compassion, but because the Tripoli peacock threatened them with jihad if they kept him in the kafir jail.
A Kosherific Up"date"
If you read this you know that my mom was outraged to see a COR designation on a package of Iranian dates. The latest is that she contacted the Kashruth Council, the folks who give products the kosher thumbs up. When she got home the other day, there was a message on her phone not from the head Rabbi, whom she left a message for, but from one of his underlings. His message informed her that the Kashruth Council is above all matters of politics, and thus has no problem deeming things from Iran kosher provided they meet the Council's stringent requirements.
Let me rephrase that: the Toronto-based kosher police believe they have the luxury of ignoring the "politics" of Iran's genocidal plans for the Jewish state. Given that, one wonders if they would have signed off on products from Germany during Hitler's times, so long as they fulfilled "kosher" standards.
As my mother--who is now even more outraged--said to me when she filled me in on the latest: "Where's the morality in that"?
The label on the dates is "Parnoosh." At the Fortinos supermarket when my mom shops there were signs to indicate the origin of two other date brands, one from Tunisia and one from Algeria, but no sign above the Parnoosh dates; obviously, someone at Fortinos realizes that their provenance isn't likely to be a selling point, especially when more than a few customers at this location (which has an extensive kosher section) are Jewish.

Song Sung Blue
Anyone looking for evidence of the decline of American popular culture need look no further than the love song. That's what Mark Steyn does here, casting a baleful glance at the American songbook, then and now. Then: glorious Gershwin numbers like "The Way You Look Tonight." Now: Julio's vulgar spawn grunts and pants his way through "Tonight (I'm F***ing You)" and ex-Mouseketeer Jason Timberlake tells his booty call that boffing her is like getting take out--and he means it as a compliment!
But then, that's what happens when the entire culture become locked in a protracted adolescence. Speaking of which, don't you hate it when you buy a used laptop, and it turns out to be stolen, and the original owner, thinking you're the thief, exacts revenge by hacking into his old--your new--computer and posting nekkid photos of you for all to see?

Speaking of which, don't you hate it when you buy a used laptop, and it turns out to be stolen, and the original owner, thinking you're the thief, exacts revenge by hacking into his old--your new--computer and posting nekkid photos of you for all to see?
Some victims take pleasure in publicly shaming the thief who nabbed their laptop. Young entrepreneur Mark Bao used BackBlaze to tap into his stolen laptop where he found a home-made video of his thief break-dancing (which he posted to YouTube). A year after someone stole a Macbook from hacker Andrew ‘zoz’ Brooks, he regaled a Defcon audience with the tale of how he tapped into the computer to figure out who the thief was and where he lived; he also shared with the audience naked photos the thief had taken of himself in the shower, as well as messages exchanged with women on dating sites. When I watched that amusing and highly embarrassing pillory, I wondered to myself, “What if the person who is in possession of the computer isn’t actually the thief, but is being shamed as if he is?”
Well, that’s exactly what happened to Susan Clement-Jeffries, reports Evan Brown at Internet Law Cases. She unknowingly used a stolen laptop to exchange explicit photos with her boyfriend and those photos wound up in the hands of a theft-recovery company and a couple of detectives, who called them “disgusting” when they arrested her. Now she’s suing the police department and Absolute Software, and she’s got a strong case.
While working as a substitute teacher at an “alternative high school” in Ohio in 2008, Clements-Jeffrey purchased a laptop from one of the students for $60. The low, low price probably should have tipped her off that the laptop was stolen. The student told her that the laptop was messed up and that his parents had given him a new one. In fact, the laptop belonged to another school district and had been reported stolen by a student who had checked it out and was using it at a public library.
Clements-Jeffrey, 52, got the laptop fixed up and then started using it to correspond with her long-distance boyfriend. Given the distance, their correspondence was at times quite sexually explicit, including steamy emails and instant messages (gSex?) and the exchange of naked photos...52 going on 13--and thick as a Chicken McNugget. (Gee--I think I'll write a "love" song about it.)
About That 'Apology'...
I was going to suggest that Israel should apologize to Turkey just as soon as Turkey apologizes to Armenians, but that would be to draw a parallel between Israeli self-defense (which resulted, unintentionally, in the death of nine jihadis) and a genocide that the Turks unleashed on purpose--and that would be obscene.

George W. Bush a "Sleeper" Spy for the Ayatollah?
That's what Gwynne Dyer (a.k.a. Grim Dire), who obviously never got over his BDS, would have you believe.
Thanks, Dhimmis
Supporters of the Toronto District School Board modus operandi (which includes transforming a public school cafeteria into a Saudi-style house of worship) are holding a--wait for it--TDSB Appreciation Day (h/t MH):
Fingers crossed none of that henna money ends up in Al Shabaab's, er, hands.Join us on Saturday, September 17th, 2011, at 2pm, for a Toronto District School Board (TDSB) APPRECIATION DAY at the TDSB Headquarters 5050 Yonge St, Toronto, On. The purpose of this event is to show the TDSB and other school boards that YES students, teachers, staff, alumni and community members appreciate the work TDSB does in providing space for extracurricular student activities. This includes accommodating students outsid...e the classroom for what is meaningful to to them, this includes athletic, academic, cultural, religious, dis/ability, LGBT/Queer and other needs students may have.
Show your school spirit and come out in your uniforms, athletic gear, and school. Bring banners for your teams and organizations, Canadian flags and if you're in the Band bring your instrument out too. We will be having a Henna Artist, Hina, coming in to put henna tattoos on whoever would like one (such as I LOVE TDSB, and other cool designs), and the money raised by the henna tattoos will be donated to the relief effort in East Africa, where many young people don't have access to food let alone an education.
Unfortunately, the TDSB has come under attack for providing space outside of the classroom for students to gather for whatever reason. Students at TDSB have the right to gather outside of the classroom and have the right to extracurricular activities that are important to them. Losing these things will not only infringe on the rights of students but also inhibits the overall development of students.
LETS COME OUT TO SUPPORT TDSB RESPECTING AND ALLOWING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS!
THANK YOU!
Anyone interested in volunteering/organizing LET US KNOW :)
MEETING FOR FUTURE ORGANIZERS/VOLUNTEERS FOR MONDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2011 @ 2PM DOWNTOWN(more specifics for later), PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE ATTENDING!
Further details will be updated :)
This is strictly a Thank You event for TDSB! That's all.
Time to Move to Utah?
Compared to the crowd that turned out for the Khomeinists' Al Quds Day rally in Toronto, the one in Salt Lake City was risibly (and gratifyingly) puny.
It Is What It Is, By George
I'd love to take in this show in New York City, but since I can't, here's my rewrite of one its famous numbers, which I've tweaked in an After America/crazy CASMO way:
It is necessarily so,
It is necessarily so,
The things that Khomeini
Has said are so zany.
See, that's necessarily so.
Obama he sold out your kids.
Obama he sold out your kids.
You're so damned indebted
His "change" is regretted.
And that's necessarily so.
The "Zionists" hate "human rights,"
The "Zionists" hate "human rights."
The UN/OIC
Despise the Jews' "perfidy."
That's necessarily so.
Hate jihad? You're "Islamophobe."
Hate jihad? You're "Islamophobe."
And nobody likes you--
A "bigot" who's "spiteful."
See, that's necessarily so.
They toppled those big ole twin towers.
They toppled those big ole twin towers.
Ten years since that rapin'
The hole still is gapin'.
Has "Great Satan" lost all his powers?
It is necessarily so,
It is necessarily so
That CASMO hates Zion
Without even tryin'.
It is necessarily so.
It is necessarily so,

Has said are so zany.
