Stealth Jihad Detected on IHMC Facebook Page

I was looking at the Islamic History Month Canada facebook page to see if there was any word about yesterday's "by invitation only" event at Ontario's provincial legislature. There wasn't, but I did find this--a link (under "Favorite Pages") to a facebook page for an outfit called the Leadership for Success Institute (LSI).

What the heck is that? Well, it describes itself as
a not-for-profit organization. It is a Toronto, Ontario based training institute specializing in leadership training, human resource development and consulting in organization effectiveness from an Islamic perspective. Our trainers and consultants are experienced in a wide range of expertise.
Its "mission":
We believe that leadership for success holds the key to individual and organizational effectiveness and social and economic prosperity. We strive to help develop leaders and organizations to enable them to reach their full potential and achieve success beyond their expectation in this life and the next by:
Providing training courses, coaching for excellence, workshops and seminars.

Facilitating knowledge and debate on leadership and management from an Islamic perspective

Bringing together leaders from various backgrounds to motivate and support each other and learn from each other’s experiences

Instilling success with positive ripple effect by encouraging leaders to be more involved in the well being of their community and that of humanity
Yeah, knowing how "successful" Islamic nations are, that's just what we need in Canada--management from an Islamic perspective with oodles of "rippling". So what's really going on here--a desire to make businesses more "successful" or a desire to make them and society in general more "Islamic"? Since the tagline on the LSI website is "Verily Allah will never change the condition of people until they change themselves," I don't think you have to go too far out on a limb to assume it's the latter.

Update: Interesting. The line in question is from the Koran, and others translate it as "Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves with their own souls." (My emphasis.) Which rather changes the meaning, no? And, oh yeah, this is the sentence that follows:
But when (once) Allah wills a people's punishment there can be no turning it back nor will they find besides Him any to protect." Q11:13
Wisely, LSI appears to have made an executive decision to not include it.

"you are known by the company you keep"

that saying has gone out of fashion these days but it remains true nonetheless.

I do not use FB. Do you see any mention or connection with Mathabah Foundation or The Mathabah Institute?

The stealth jihad is embodied here:
To produce the most powerful Muslim male and female leaders who are connected to Allah and who will endeavour to connect everybody around them to Him

The Mathabah Institute is the education wing of Mathabah Foundation. The Mathabah Institute is a unique initiative that has been formed to answer the call of the time and with the help of Allah it plans to deliver like no other institute before it, with the following objectives in mind:

To establish an institutional channel through which Muslims in the west can pursue a designated Islamic scholarship.
To educate Muslims on the Islamic sciences in a manner that it is conveniently accessible, easy to understand and absolutely relevant to the time and place we live in.
To offer accreditation to individuals who complete necessary credits
To focus on developing leadership skills to empower Muslims in the west
To produce the most powerful Muslim male and female leaders who are connected to Allah and who will endeavour to connect everybody around them to Him

Vision

Through its unique approach and convenient style, the Mathabah Institute will become one of the most powerful and influential Islamic learning centres the nation of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم has ever witnessed or come to know of inshä’Allah. With its base in Toronto, Canada and branches throughout various regions in the west, it will revolutionize the general perception of Islamic Scholarship with the help of the Almighty.
