It's Al Jazeera's World. We Just Live In It
In an effort to capitalize on Al Jazeera's coverage of the Egyptian "revolution," there's a full page ad for the station in the National Post (the somewhat-though-not-exclusively-right-of-center paper which, for some bizarre reason, imam Steve Rockwell calls "the Hebron Post"). That's mucho dinero in ad dollars for the Post, which local cable providers--who are currently offering a free A-J preview are obviously hoping will translate into tons o' cash for them (cable operators obviously counting on the lure of A-J's "incisive coverage", quoth the Toronto Starafat, and "great reporting," quoth MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, along with the fact that, apparently, "It is Al Jazeera's moment," quoth the New York Times, being all but irrestisible).
