Kudos to Joanne Hill, gal reporter for the Jewish Trib, for doing the well-nigh impossible: staying awake throughout Zafar Bangash's snoozeroo of a talk in Hamilton. Her alertness enabled her to zero in on his warning (threatening?) violence against Canadian Jews should Iran be attacked.
I'm not 100 per cent certain of the legalities, but doesn't that sort of thing qualify as a hate crime? It's certainly a lot more alarming to me than, say, a stray swastika scrawled in a public toilet stall (something that always gets the local Clouseaus to hop to it).
