The Novelist as Rock Star: Murakami's Latest Has 'Em Lining Up in Japan

As a book-lover (real books, that is, ones made of paper that have heft and pages to turn, not books that are cold, sterile machines), I find this rather heartening. (BTW, I couldn't get through Murakami's previous book--too futuristic and sci-fi for my liking--but I did love his The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.)
