Compare and Contrast--TDSB "Celebrates" Italians, Does Its Best to Ignore Jewry Outside the Context of the Holocaust

You may recall this post from last week in which I quoted from Joanne Hill's article in the Jewish Tribune re Toronto District School Board's plans for Jewish Heritage Month. As Ms. Hill reported, the board had no plans this year, and coming up with any future plans could well prove problematic because they would have to consider the, um, "diversity" of Toronto public schools.

"Diversity" in this instance is a coded way to refer to schools full of Zion-loathers from many Islamic lands.

Contrast that with the excitement occasioned by the obviously non-problematic Italian Heritage Month:

Students and staff are participating in special activities all month long. Events will educate the TDSB community on the experiences of Italian-speaking people and their culture...

Students of all backgrounds will have the chance to acknowledge the long and rich history of Italian Canadians, the challenges and successes they have faced and their contributions to Canada and the world in the past, the present and the future. 

 J'accuse the TDSB of blatant discrimination/favouritism! ;)
