Some Leaders Are More Churchillian Than Other Leaders

When Bibi Netanyahu appears before Congress in less than an hour, he will be given a meaningful gift: a bust of Winston Churchill. The bust is meant to mark Netanyahu's third appearance in front of this body, a feat matched only by the British leader who stood resolute in face of the existentialist threat posed by Nazi Germany. (Significantly, Elie Wiesel will be in the audience to hear Bibi's speech while the entire Obama administration gives it the cold shoulder.)

The bust Netanyahu receives will not, of course, be the same one that Tony Blair presented to George W. Bush after 9/11. That piece of statuary was crated up and shipped back to the U.K. in the early day of the Obama presidency because this POTUS is no fan of Churchill.
