"How to Write About Muslims"

Writing on the Al Jazeera site, Thomas L. Friedman's biographer (no, seriously, he actually has one) instructs us to take our cues from apologists for Islam John Esposito and Robert Fisk, and to stifle our inner Pamela Geller.

I, too, was initially surprised to learn that Mr. Friedman had a biographer . . . but then I thought, maybe she came with his house.

Or maybe he met her at an airport (since he seems to spend an inordinate amount of time jetting off from one place to another).
