Bloggers Perturb Pipes

Daniel Pipes tells the Washington Times's Michelle Boorstein that he's distressed that his is no longer the only authoritative voice on the subject of Islam that so many "unsophisticated" bloggers out there are "anti-Islam" (H/T JB):
Pipes says while he shares a concern about radical Islam with today's crop of bloggers, he considers them "anti-Islam" because in his view they see the faith and it (sic) scripture as fundamentally problematic for a pluralistic, democratic society like the United States and unchangeable.
Yes, as a knuckle-dragging unsophisticate, I'm obviously missing the wealth of "nuance" in "jihad is way; sharia is the goal." Please educate me, oh wise one.

Pipes better just get used to more voices and stop whining that he doesn't have full control over the message. JMO
