Blame William Kristol for inspiring this one:
The term is long
With plenty of cunning 'pork'
That leads us to debt galore,
And then more.
But he's wrong,
Wrong enough to lose it all.
He ain't Muslim, he's 'progressive'.
So on he'll yack.
Our 'welfare' is his concern.
No spurning of him is fair,
So he'll swear.
But we know
He will sure encumber us.
He ain't Muslim, he's 'progressive'.
If we're laden with debt,
We're laden with regret
That everyone's head
Got so filled with his glibness
'Bout hope 'n' change abounding.
It's a long, long road
From which there is no return.
While we're down this hole
We've a goal--
Restore our soul.
And the goal
Reinvigorates us now.
He ain't Muslim, he's 'progressive'.
