Whassup with Canada's largest book chain failing to stock Mark Steyn's new book on its shelves? Kathy Shaidle, who once worked in the publishing industry, says it's likely nothing more than "incompetence." But since this isn't the first time Chapters' "incompetence" has kept Steyn out of its stores, and since such "incomptenence" never seems to involve the works of, say, Naomi Klein or Jimmy Carter, it's hard not to see something else at work here--something a bit more purposeful, perhaps?
