I was trying to explain to my politics-obsessed son this morning why I was upset to hear about Ontario's pathetically low voter turn out yesterday.
"It's a sign that people in Ontario take their freedom for granted--and when you do that, you can be sure you're going to lose it," I told him.
Case in point: our nutty "human rights" apparatus which
--paging George Orwell!--has determined that all Ontarians are equal, but some are more equal than others. You may recall how, when some "Asian" fishers had some trouble with "racists" (the locals didn't like how the "Asians" came to their environs and helped themselves to more than their share of fish in the locals' lake), Barbara Hall's "human rights" cops raced to scene to rectify the "bigotry"; heck, she even spent lots of taxpayer shekels investigating it, and castigating the non-Asians. But when Muslim landlords, in direct defiance of Babsy's "house rules," exclude all kafirs from their rentals (the modern-day version of "no dogs or Jews"), Babsy's crew claim there's absolutely nothing they can do about it.
Babsy Bossyboots also defended a Toronto public school turning its cafeteria into a makeshift Wahhabi mosque wherein chicks and chicks on the rag were given the Rosa Parks treatment (it's the back o' the bus/mosqueteria for you, second classers).
Four legs good, two legs bad, anyone?
