Thank Heaven Reza Aslan Wrote a Jesus Book That Gives Him and the Ceeb an Excuse to Bash Fox News for "Islamophobia"

This morning on Ceeb radio, you can hear this (my italics):
Zealot author Reza Aslan on Fox News and why Jesus wasn't a pacifist
Religious scholar Reza Aslan's new book about Jesus has gained international attention thanks in part to a very persistent Fox News host. You've probably seen the video of Lauren Green repeatedly asking Reza why a Muslim like himself would want to write a book about Jesus. The interview has brought on some pointed criticism of Fox News, and propelled "Zealot: the Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth" to the top of the best sellers lists. In the book, Reza argues that almost everything you think you know about Jesus Christ is wrong. He joins Day 6 to tell us why the real Jesus was actually a revolutionary nationalist out to resist the Roman occupation, and not a pacifist.
I'm not sure--is Aslan's point that "the real Jesus" is a lot like...the Palestinians? A lot like another revolutionary non-pacifist, the dude who founded Islam? Did Aslan purposely go on Fox News hoping that its supposedly inherent "Islamophobia" would reveal itself and give him this fabulous--and free--publicity?

So many questions, none of which I expect to be answered during this morning's ritual Fox-thrashing.
