Since her settlement in Britain, she has been globe-trotting to advance the cause of education. She has also been showered with awards narrowly missing the Nobel Peace prize for 2013.

Malala has addressed the UN General Assembly, she has been received by Barack Obama in the White House and has been interviewed by Christiane Amanpour on CNN as well as on the Jon Stewart Show, among many others. Canada, that does not allow most Pakistanis to set foot on its soil, gave an honorary citizenship, something Malala shares with the likes of Nelson Mandela.

If she is promoting children's education worldwide by globetrotting, one wonders when would she get the chance for her own education?

Some observers have also questioned why she is being promoted so much by the same Western rulers that never spare a thought for other children they habitually murder in places like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen or Somalia. In particular, people have drawn attention to the brutal rape and murder of a 14-year-old Iraqi girl, Abeer, in 2006. She was raped by five American soldiers and then killed. Her parents were also killed and their bodies set on fire.

What is special about Malala and why is the plight of Abeer never highlighted by these same Western do-gooders?

Keep it up, Malala! If you're pissing off these raging Khomeinists, you're obviously doing something right.
