Obama Reportedly "Outraged" By Second ISIS Beheading of an American Journalist

"Outraged," is he? Funny how his "outraged" sounds tepid, torpid and saturated with ennui. He managed to summon up far more outrage/passion the other day while addressing union types in Milwaukee, where nary a beheading was in sight.

Update: His "outrage" seems to be perversely selective. He's "calm when it comes to Putin, ISIS and Hamas, but furious with Israel."

Update: In a brief survey of current crises and Obama's response to them that opens this month's Commentary magazine, John Podhoretz is utterly scathing:
And, of course, Hamas began to rain rockets down on Israeli cities and towns, leading to an inarguably justifiable military response by the Jewish state. That response was greeted by Israel’s foe in the White House with grudging pseudo-acceptance and condescending moral disapprobation. As ever, President Obama and his vassals like to pretend a curled lip and a raised eyebrow are expressions of friendship. Now, polling suggests, Obama himself is experiencing the curled lip and raised eyebrow of the American people, nearly 60 percent of whom believe he is doing a bad job with the nation’s foreign policy.
A curled lip and a raised eyebrow are expressions of friendship, and a voice that sounds bored and enervated is how he expresses "outrage." He's an odd duck, is that Obama.
