"Coexist" Insanity: It's a Shul...It's a Mosque...It's Two, Two, Two Houses of Worship in One

I see from an ad in the Canadian Jewish News that Shahid Akhtar, the founding Co-Chair of the Canadian Association of Jews and Muslims, will be speaking at WE REFUSE TO BE ENEMIES: A Panel Discussion Exploring Jewish-Muslim Relations.

FYI, Akthar is one of the prime movers behind one the nuttiest local efforts ever. It's called--wait for it--the SynaMosque.

Yes, you read that correctly, the SynaMosque.

What the heck is that?

Well, according to Mr. A., it is:
a Synagogue and a Mosque under one roof for the Jewish and Muslim siblings of Abraham, in the Greater Toronto Area.
The point of the thing is to bring together:
all individuals, groups and organizations who wish to combat Islamophobia and anti-Semitism and jointly struggle against stereotyping, prejudice and bigotry faced by our faith groups.
We envision the SynaMosque as powerful symbol of solidarity between Jews and Muslims. This would be both a virtual and physical presence where they can come together to worship, reflect, build personal bonds, discuss all issues with respect and with the purpose of positive contribution to reach resolutions and present the world a model of cooperation and harmony...
Kumbaya, my lord, Kumbaya...as long as you don't disrespect the spirit of the place and raise such divisive issues as the jihad and/or that pesky Jewish state.

Methinks that doing that would be akin to farting during a religious service, and would likely dispel the atmosphere of inter-Abrahamic conviviality as quickly as one could say--or even scream--"Allahu Akbar!"
